Gary’s contemporaries talk of personal codes and honour. Gary is, as far as I’m concerned, playing dress up as a ninja, and having the grandest time doing it. If Agent 47 is Ian Hitman, so must our masked protagonist be Gary Aragami. Because there’s playing a game, in the operational sense, and then there’s playing inside of one. Let’s play ninjas, shall we?Īnd “play” is key. If Tenchu was an armoury to select from, and Shadow Tactics a map to study, Aragami 2 is a toybox. Flow imperfectly and playfully, for the same tools that allow you to strike masterfully silent also let you mitigate sloppiness with improvisational glee. Just one thing: When playing in multiplayer through the main campaign, the 'joining' player will not get credit on their level list for scrolls found. We have both agreed that Aragami has been a great purchase, and we still haven't even started custom maps yet!

I play on my gaming laptop, and he plays on a game pc hooked up to his tv, so whenever I go to his place to hang out, we try to play multiplayer games so neither of us is left out. We got this game specifically BECAUSE we always look for multiplayer games we can go through together. Once we unlock all the powers, we're really looking forward to the fan maps. We had a great time, and are now going back through to get all the remaining scrolls/kill all/kill none/undetected accomplishments to unlock all the skins (I really want the Ghost, but completing the whole game undetected? Gods, that's gonna be tough. My friend and I played through the entire campaign in multiplayer.
